Project Summary
Robomagellan is a competition where the team designs an autonomous vehicle. The objective of the competition is to have the vehicle run using GPS, allowing it to go to a specific target. The vehicle that is able to complete the obstacle course in the shortest time wins the competition.

February 10, 2008 ~ Sunday

The team worked on adding a compass to the main robot.


December 20, 2007 ~ Thursday

"We have recently got a hold of an electric RC car and are working on getting the MAKE controller to emulate the RC Cars' receiver to make the car drive without a remote control." -Benjamin Waxler


November 18, 2007 ~ Sunday

The team finished building the robot and coding the GPS.


November 4, 2007 ~ Sunday

The team now has an all DEV enviroment for the robot and has begun programming it.


October 14, 2007 ~ Sunday

The Robomagellan Team is constructing an environment for their vehicle so they can begin to program the code for autonomous capabilities.


September 29, 2007 ~ Saturday

Motors have been salvaged from the old educational robots. A team has started on building a Vex prototype chassis. There is a micro-controller on order and hopefully will start interfacing to a GPS unit this week.
