Claiming 2nd place in the California State Science Fair, the team shows off what an incredible amount of work they have completed this past year! Congrats to the team!

May 12, 2008 ~ Monday

Having done an amazing job in the Los Angeles County Science Fair, the team placed 3rd in the category of Environmental Sciences. A special award was also awarded for their hard work in researching an alternative fuel.

October 14, 2007 ~ Sunday

The bio-fuels team now has a chemical processor in which oil can be stored and filtered. They will be recieving hardware (i.e.- pipes) for heating the fuel next week. The team is filtering this oil so that a diesel car doesn't have to be converted in order to use bio-diesel as fuel.

October 7, 2007 ~ Sunday

The bio-fuels team is planning to convert two other diesel cars and they are going to record the results from the different fuels they are going to test. Currently the team is looking for filters and pumps for the fuel shipping coming sometime next week.
